F&R Worldwide Celebrates 10 Years of Romanian Operations
On October 21, 2015, the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest hosted a reception commemorating the 10th Anniversary of F&R Worldwide’s operations in the Romanian market. Attendees at the event included U.S. Ambassador Hans Klemm, numerous members of the Embassy staff, and over 100 invited guests from Romania’s energy, environmental, infrastructure and real estate industries.
“In 2005, the U.S. Embassy welcomed F&R to Romania as a small company. Today, they have nearly 100 people and have made a big difference for over 150 clients in Romania and in the region,” said Ambassador Klemm during the event. “They are now recognized as one of the leading environmental and geotechnical firms in the country.”
Ms. Ramona Tepelea, Managing Director of F&R Worldwide, also spoke at the event, saying, “Over the past ten years, F&R Worldwide has put together a multi-disciplined team of professionals that pride themselves on being thoughtful listeners, precise evaluators, and motivated actors whose sole goal is to serve their customers to the best of their ability. FRW has grown significantly over the years, but we have remained committed to the principles that have defined us since day one: fairness, integrity, and honesty.”
F&R Worldwide was established in November 2005 and is headquartered in Bucharest, Romania. Since its founding, the company has grown rapidly, expanding to nearly 100 people and generating over 4 million EUR in revenue in 2015. Its parent company, Froehling & Robertson, Inc., based in Richmond, Virginia, has provided outstanding environmental, geotechnical, and engineering services for its clients in the U.S. and abroad for nearly 135 years.
